It was a lovely break. Jamaica is a beautiful country but again you would have to go a long way to beat Mexico with their service and facilities. We would class St James as a four star property certainly not in the same class as the Excellence.
They did everything you asked which was a four poster bed (very comfortable) wishing us congrats for anniversary and birthday with rum in the room and flowers and cake but no wine or any other spirits we had to ask. The mini bar was very poor and the place has seen better days it needs a complete overhaul and decorating. The food wasn't the same standard as Excellence and Mike went down with a stomach problem the last few days before we came away making it a problem on the plane back.
Luckily we were premier but with 420 odd people on the plane all the upstairs people including the economy had only one working toilet which was a big problem. They have two toilets upstairs usually working but one was out of use but the stewardesses didn't tell us why. Apart from this the premier was quite good and would try to do this again.
We will be looking at the new Excellence opening in Jamaica next year but not sure if they will be using Good service people.
It remains to be seen anyway thank you for all you did for us and we did relax after a very busy year working seven days a week.
Many thanksA&M 15-12-2017,
