    Guests at Excellence Riviera Cancun can take advantage of access to the first of two world-class championship golf courses at the Playa Mujeres Resort. An exclusive course designed for the world's most demanding golfers by the world-famous course designer and former golf champion Greg Norman, the 7,260 yard, 18-hole course was constructed with special regard for the exotic tropical flora and fauna that make the location so noteworthy. Located just 3 miles north of Cancun, the golf course features spectacular vistas overlooking the picturesque Chacmochuc lagoon to the west and the turquoise of the Caribbean to the east. The holes along the beach are susceptible to variables such as wind, making the Playa Mujeres Golf Course a challenging course that's never the same twice.

    At Excellence Riviera Cancun, a total of 6 swimming pools-Including one pool with handicap access -2 of them heated in winter with a collective expanse of 77,800 square feet - provide guests with privacy and a variety of bathing options throughout the resort grounds. Three whirlpools right next to the pools offer stunning Caribbean views, and two additional Jacuzzis by the Spa & the Swim-up Pool Bar provide immediate refreshments.
