PROFILE
The Occidental Allegro Playacar is an all inclusive hotel boasting a great location on white sand with crystal blue waters offering fun-filled days and nights. Just south of Playa del Carmen and 40 minutes south of Cancun this resort, formed by exotic Polynesian style bungalows offers a variety of services and amenities. Allegro Playacar is located near one of the most charming Mexican Caribbean towns, Playa del Carmen, an ideal place for relaxing and shopping.

FACILITIES
The Allegro Playacar by Occidental offers you the choice between two pools, 1 relax and 1 activity pool. Next to the pool area there are sun beds and umbrellas. Towel service and beach and pool chairs are free of charge. Scuba classes can be taken in the pool. Daily activity program in several languages, instructor led activities, multi-use gymnasium, kid s club with daily entertainment program (4 to 12 years) are free of charge.
Nightly entertainment provided by the Fun Club, free entrance and drinks at Eddies Sports Bar and Disco. The hotel offers the practice of sports and activities such as: volleyball, beach football, ping-pong, darts, billiard, board games, gym, tennis, basketball and water polo. Non-motorized water sports: kayaks, snorkelling equipment, water polo, aqua aerobics, boogie boards, sailing, windsurfing and banana boat.

ACCOMMODATION
In a colourful atmosphere, Occidental Allegro Playacar features 286 large and bright guestrooms completely redesigned for having a lively and happy stay.
Superior - Completely renovated and redesigned rooms feature the all inclusive features of the resort, as well as air conditioning with individual climate control, King-size bed or two double beds, Balcony, Hair dryer, ceiling fan, telephone, coffee machine, iron/ironing board, private bathroom with shower/full bath, safety deposit box, and satellite television with remote control. Cribs are also available upon request
Superior Premium -- Identical to the Superior category, the Superior Premium rooms are closest to the beach & swimming pools.

DINING & BAR FACILITIES
The Occidental Allegro Playacar offers three restaurants, all with air conditioning or ceiling fans and non-smoking areas.
The main restaurant 'Topaz' serves breakfast, lunch and dinner and has a great selection of International cuisine served in buffet style and has different nightly themes.
The Italian speciality restaurant 'Caruso's' serves exquisite dishes from an A la Carte menu, or try 'La Troje' for an A la Carte Mexican menu. Wine is served with both lunch and dinner.
Both speciality restaurants are open from 18.00-23.00 and require prior reservations. Gentlemen are also required to wear long trousers.
For snacks during the day choose from the 'La Huerta' Pizzeria open from 12.00-18.00 or the 'pool-side' snack bar for a light lunch from 10.00-17.00 and a midnight snack from 23.00-01.00hrs.
In addition there are four bars including a 'Sports Bar' with TV's, pool tables and sports videos - open throughout the day at various times between 10.00-01.00, serving refreshments, local alcoholic drinks, soft drinks and cocktails.

ALL INCLUSIVE SPORT AND ENTERTAINMENT A variety of sports activities and entertainment are available for all age groups at the Occidental Allegro Playacar. These include two swimming pools (one for activities and one for relaxation), four floodlit tennis courts, non-motorised water sports (kayaks, snorkeling, sailing, boogie boards and windsurfing), scuba diving lesson in the pool, volleyball, table tennis, and many more.
There is a daily activities programme and nightly entertainment with staff and local entertainers in several different languages, and for children aged 4-12 years there is a supervised kids club from 09.00-21.00hrs.
